Lorenzo 1.2 group and first clutch

I’ve been experimenting with a 1.2 group of Lorenzo. This is unusual in that most tinctorius keepers avoid grouping females for fear of aggression. I have found that you can group females if you monitor and understand the behavior of the individual animals. I tried two 1.2s this year and did pull a female from one of the 1.2s when I felt she was not gaining enough weight. The 1.2 pictures here appears to be working out. Note the size difference between the dominant female (age 2 years, front left) and the male (age 8 years, front right)
