I LOVE this little creation that came home from school, though Jim is rather unimpressed. I don’t know if that’s because he can’t see the vibrant colors the same way we do or if he thinks this is just too simple for what Shannon usually creates. However, it makes me happy, so I’m taking a picture and keeping the actual piece in my office for a while:
This decorated plate was a featured “ornament” on our Christmas tree:
Shannon creates a bunch of stuff during “centers” or other free time. Here is the sampling from December 2014:
Thank goodness she didn’t actually get to 40 on this book!
A couple of random pictures:
A somewhat lengthy book (how does she have so much free time in class???):
Some actual directed classroom creations:
Syllables (1, 2, & 3)
Reading comprehension (beginning, middle, & end of story)
Creations / Coloring / Patterns:
This was the passport she created when they learned about different countries:
This was Shannon’s Bingo card that she used during her winter party. Darrock called out the cards with Dad’s help and I helped the kids and handed out prizes:
Finally, her homework, most of which has been way too easy and simply a task to do and get out of the way:
Ok….REALLY final now – a few pics of creations that were made by Shannon’s friends in school or friends who came to her birthday party (she’s received many more we threw in the trash, so this is just a sampling):
The first one from David I like because it’s the first winky face I’ve seen any kids make to date (unless that was actually from Margaret – I noticed both pics have ponytails coming out of the top of Shannon’s head, haha)!
